Job Description:

• Entry level position with potential for growth
• Train to learn the proper installation methods of Copper, Steel and CPVC piping
• Train to learn the life and the property saving benefits of fire sprinkler systems
• Properly thread, groove, or solvent cement pipe and fittings
• Install pipe, fittings, valves, and sprinklers in new residential and commercial construction
• Learn from experienced foremen and train on the job
• Learn to read blueprints, learn code, learn a trade
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Able to be on site for scheduled hours between 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Willing to work in excess of 40 hours per week, and occasional Saturday
• Proficient with mobile technology (Smartphone/Tablet/Email/Texting)
• Capable of performing physical duties - oftentimes in unusual/difficult positions
• Ability to work on a ladder, scaffolding, or lift
• Ability to effectively use/operate power tools
• Be able to safely lift 50+ lbs. frequently
• Able to produce a valid Driver’s License and possess a mostly clean driving record
• Willing to commute within 50-mile radius of Pottstown daily if required
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Reliable transportation a must
